If you can’t confidently check all three boxes on this page, the Hobby license isn’t suitable for your needs, and you’ll have to purchase a Development Team license.

Who's doing the developing?

The Hobbyist license may only be used by the person that purchased the license, it may not be assigned to an employee, team member, freelancer, or other developer.

What's the size of the company?

Your company may not have more than 3 employees. This maximum includes founders, CEOs, and remote workers.

How's the company performing?

Your company revenue/funding may not exceed $100K a year. This limit is imposed at the company level, not the project level.
